Calcite

Calcite is a mineral that is found often throughout the world. It is the principle component in other stones such as limestone and marble. It is also the main component in the shells of sea creatures. It is highly reactive and will dissolve when it comes into contact with most acids, even vinegar.

Colour: All colours, including colourless, (most common is yellow)
Lustre: Vitreous, waxy, pearly, silky

Clear calcite is good for detoxification

CHAKRA

Solar plexus (between navel and diaphragm) for yellow calcite, and Sacral chakra (below navel) for orange calcite. Clear calcite can be used to open and balance all the chakras.
